At all community events, whether sponsored by the Green Party or other organizations in the community, we will have a recycling centre for items not collected by the City of Vancouver – plastic bags, styrofoam, cell phones, and e-waste.

Bring us the recyclables the City won’t take

At each Green Party event, whether community events or BBQs, you’ll be able to recycle the items you can’t put in the City’s blue boxes, grey boxes, or yellow bags. Bring your e-waste, such as cell phones, batteries and small electronics, styrofoam, and/or clean plastic bags. We’ll take care of them for you.

We have separate containers for these types of items at the Green Party recycling stations

  1. Cell Phones / Chargers / Ear Buds / Headsets
  2. Clean plastic bags
  3. Styrofoam
  4. e-Waste: small/light components
    • Batteries / Computers / Audiovisual / Electronic Toys
    • Personal Care / Small Appliances / Media
    • Craft / Art Devices / Textile Equipment
